You stub your toe after thinking a dark thought? Karma.
You dream of water before it rains? Prophetic sensitivity.
Your friend calls you after you think of them? “Connected energy”.
No. Just noise. Just a trigger-happy survival mechanism assigning signal where there is none.

Apophenia isn’t a quirk. It’s the default.
This is not spiritual metaphor. It’s neurological architecture.

The brain hallucinates cause-effect relationships constantly..Not because it’s broken, but because it works that way. It’s not trying to “understand” the world. It’s trying to map it just enough to act without freezing.
Too little prediction? You die.
Too much prediction? You hallucinate meaning in every glance, shadow, silence, and gut twitch.

The brain would rather hallucinate a god than admit it doesn’t know what the hell is going on.

This is why no belief system, no tradition, no intellectual framework, no technological interface.. Including AI.. Can ever escape this glitch. Because they all emerge from, and feed back into, the same primitive wiring.

Even science.. The supposed “objective discipline”.. Is shot through with it.
Not because it’s fake, but because it’s operated by the same hallucinating ape mind that built gods, symbols, numerology, astrology, and dreams of liberation.
